The Outbound Lead Generation Agent is responsible for initiating outbound communication with prospective U.S.-based clients to schedule qualified appointments for Phil-Am Insurance staff. This role is a key upstream function in the sales pipeline, focused on disciplined outreach, consistent follow-up, and accurate CRM documentation.
This position does not sell insurance or provide plan advice. The agent’s sole mandate is to engage prospects professionally, confirm interest, and book appointments with licensed U.S. insurance representatives.
Make outbound calls to assigned U.S.-based lead lists during approved calling windows
Send follow-up SMS and emails using approved scripts and templates
Introduce Phil-Am Insurance at a high level and confirm interest in speaking with a licensed advisor
Schedule appointments directly into U.S. staff calendars
Execute multi-touch follow-up sequences to maximize contact and attendance rates
Accurately log call outcomes, notes, and dispositions in the CRM
Re-engage aged, recycled, or previously unresponsive leads per campaign rules
Strictly adhere to U.S. insurance marketing rules, TCPA guidelines, and internal compliance policies
Avoid discussing plan details, pricing, benefits, or making recommendations
Immediately escalate compliance questions or consumer complaints to leadership
Meet daily and weekly activity targets (calls placed, contacts made, appointments set)
Participate in coaching sessions, call reviews, and team meetings
Collaborate with U.S.-based staff to improve appointment quality and show rates

High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year experience in outbound calling, appointment setting, or BPO sales support
Excellent spoken and written English with a neutral or easily understandable accent
Comfort working U.S. business hours
Strong computer skills and reliable internet connection
Prior experience supporting U.S. insurance, Medicare, ACA, or financial services campaigns
Experience working with U.S. CRM or dialer systems (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Five9, etc.)
Familiarity with compliance-driven calling environments
Tagalog/English bilingual (required); Spanish exposure is a plus
